AB ENGLISH LANGUAGE PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES:
1. Successfully engage in the practice of the English language (private, public, or academic sectors) by providing a comprehensive knowledge of the English language – its origin, growth and development, structures, and use.
2. Apply acquired knowledge and skills in the fields of language and literature teaching, research undertakings, and other language-related services.
3. Deepen appreciation of self and others, amidst diversity, through communication and languages viewed as a means to understand humanity and the world.
4. Inculcate the values of integrity, responsibility, nationalism and other Filipino values necessary for the preservation of cultural heritage and national identity.
5. Achieve a high level of English language expertise and professionalism in order to succeed in positions in the academe and in language and communication industries.
